UK pop band Tumbler has released their new record Come to The Edge, the follow up to their previous effort You Said, released in September 2015. Once again the UK trio, which consists of brothers Harry and Richard Grace on vocals and guitar, and friend Dave Needham on guitar and keys, has released a full length that demonstrates the depth of their abilities as musicians. With vocals that sound reminiscent of Noel Gallagher of Oasis, and performance skills that surpass the bands short history, Tumbler has written twelve great pop tunes that will win the attention of new ears.

Opening with “Black Sheep,” the song begins as an acoustic track, while soon turning into a rock number that sets up the LP perfectly. Sounding like Elvis Costello in his earlier years, Tumbler has a direction set for their record early on with a beautiful sense of harmony and solid songwriting.

“Week,” is another acoustic song that shows off Harry’s aptitude for guitar and songwriting. With fantastic vocal ability from all three members, “Week” is a track that stands out from the rest with its expansive sound that serves as ear candy for their audience.

“Joanne,” written about a girl who has passed on, is a beautiful ambient tune that features strings and piano to give the song a heavenly feeling. With all of the parts fitting together well, as it plays, we wonder about the inspiration behind the song and whether Joanne is a real person.

To close the record, Tumbler leaves us with “Freedom The Cry,” a breezy rock tune that is the longest selection on the LP. The most radio-ready song on Come to The Edge, it is a very listenable song that makes the album feel cohesive and whole. As a closing tune, it also wraps up the emotions heard throughout Come to The Edge, and for an unsigned and unheard of band, Tumbler are not a group that you should miss.
