After suffering a vocal hemorrhage last month in Sydney, Australia, a doctor has ordered Sam Smith to undergo surgery on his vocal chords, after his voice has failed to heal. He will take the next 6-8 weeks off, and as a result all of his scheduled dates for May and June will be scrapped. You can see a statement from Smith here and see his updated tour schedule below.
