For the 30th anniversary of Band Aid, Bob Geldof gathered 15 musicians to record a new version of “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” to raise funds for the fight against Ebola in West Africa. Gelof started the organization in 1984 to fight famine in Ethiopia. This version of the single marks the fourth time “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” has been used and the first since 2004. Among some of the artists featured on the track are Bono, Robert Plant, Marcus Mumford, Chris Martin, and Ed Sheeran.
The track will be available for purchase tomorrow, November 17th.
