French duo Racoon Racoon has released their new single “The Dodo’s Nest,” which focuses on the end of the world. Talking about the song the band says, “I felt so overwhelmed by the beauty of the landscape, it made me profoundly sad. Because I knew I was privileged to see this: Mother Earth at her best appearance.
So I wrote that song, with a lilting melody contrasted by desperate lyrics, because it’s just how I felt on that moment: ridiculously happy to be in a wonderful place that would eventually fade away because of my existence.”
The band released their first EP Our Love’s Funeral in 2017.
