Prince has announced that he will be streaming his upcoming album HITNRUN through TIDAL, the latest streaming platform founded by Jay Z. Before this announcement, Prince had been against putting his music on streaming platforms, due to feeling that services such as Spotify do not honor the craft of musicians. HITNRUN will be released on September 7th.
