Nate McFarland, guitarist of the band Parachute has announced his departure from the band in order to go back to school and study business. Read his statement below:
A MESSAGE FROM NATE:
It’s with a mix of both sadness and excitement that I’m announcing my departure from Parachute. I’ve decided that it’s time to bring this incredible chapter of my life to a close and start a new one, and I wanted to let you all know directly.
I’ll be going back to school this fall to study business, and I’m excited to see both where this will lead me and how it will build upon these past seven years as a member of Parachute.
This is an entirely friendly departure from the band, my brothers-in-arms whom I continue to count as best friends. I’m very grateful to them for their understanding, support, and above all, friendship.
I’m also deeply grateful to others: to the Parachute crew and managers who have worked so hard over all these years to make everything happen; to our INCREDIBLE fans—whose support has made and continues to make Parachute’s amazing journey possible; to my wife—whose endless encouragement, love, and sacrifice has made my journey possible, and to God—the author of my journey, who gives it all meaning.
Much love to you all, and see you at a Parachute show!
Nate
