Canadian 90’s teen pop band The Moffatts will be heading to Jakarta, Bali, and Singapore early next year for a farewell tour. Starting off as a country act, the band switched to performing pop music as well as playing their own instruments, in 1996. The band (along with their youngest brother Dave who is not pictured above,) had several hits throughout their time as a band, including “Miss You Like Crazy,” “Girl of My Dreams,” and “Misery.” While they failed to catch on well in the US, they toured extensively throughout the world, with Asia being a huge market for the group. While they united for a StageIt performance in 2012, the group has not toured together since 2001, since releasing their last record Submodalities in Canada.
The tour is being promoted by Flabbergast Productions and you can get your pre-sale tickets here. While venues have not officially been announced, it looks like the band is asking interested fans to tell them where to play through filling out a Google Doc.
