As a way to address declining sales, iTunes will no longer be accepting cover tunes that sound similar to the original song. The only exception would be karaoke tracks, though you must put “karaoke” in the search box. This is also Apple’s attempt to “clean up” the iTunes store as streaming is starting to take the spotlight away from downloading music.
