Australian pop punk band Homestate has dropped their new single “Sunny Day,” which will remind listeners of bands such as Sum 41 and All Time Low. Forming in 2017, the band will be releasing their self-titled EP on November 29th. Vocalist Chad Fraser says the following about the inspiration behind the track “after a bad run of relationships, coming into something that’s finally good for you can be hard to adjust to. Sunny Day is inspired by long nights spent awake overthinking your every move. The song is about taking the time to be the right person for the sake of someone else, it’s pleading for the right person to wait for you because this time it’s real.”
