A trailer for a new Amy Winehouse documentary titled Amy debuted at a pre-Grammy brunch earlier today. Universal Music UK CEO David Joseph said that the trailer would be released to the public in about a month, though he wanted to debut it at The Grammy Awards, as tonight would mark the anniversary of the 2008 Grammy’s where Winehouse would win five awards including song and record of the year. Amy Winehouse died from accidental alcohol poisoning in 2011 at the age of 27.
The movie will be released in theatres later this year.
