R&B singer Aidan Carroll has released his latest single “Misunderstood,” off of his upcoming record The Other Side, out on September 14th. Talking about the song’s meaning, Carroll says, “This song wrote itself. “I’ve always felt I don’t quite fit in, especially in the music world, so it’s about feeling like people just don’t get you as a person. The complexity of having different aspects to your personality and creative skills as an artist can be daunting to express in the modern world. It’s also about life transitions, coming into your 30’s and feeling a kind of identity crisis. That change is hard, but necessary for growth.”
