Hours after a Rolling Stone interview was posted last night with Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker saying that their band mate Tom Delonge was “ungrateful” and “disingenuous”, Delonge quickly posted the following tweet and then quickly deleted it.
“A year ago Mark and I spent a week on the phone with managers debating parting with Travis,” he said. “Don’t pretend there isn’t more to the story.”
Yesterday reports starting coming in that Delonge had quit Blink 182. Surprised by the statements, Delonge stated that he never quit the group. Hoppus and Barker have plans to honor all upcoming Blink 182 commitments with Alkaline Trio guitarist Matt Skiba.
