Shawn Mendes dropped a surprise new single last night titled “What The Hell Are We Dying For?,” supposedly about the air quality effecting many US cities on the East Coast, though many fans are also suspecting that it’s a song about reconciling and then breaking up with singer Camila Cabello, whom Mendes was in a relationship with for two years for parting ways in 2021. This is first new music Mendes has shared with fans since announcing the cancellation of his Wonder World Tour last year due to mental health challenges.
