Northern Ontario vocalist Mel Monaco has released her jazz pop single “Single Again” which brings both genres to the forefront by intertwining them to create a track that sounds reminiscent of the late Amy Winehouse, along with a nod to older No Doubt material that would fit in well among the bands Tragic Kingdom tunes, due to the track’s punchy and unpredictable sound. Born to parents who were both musicians, Monaco already has a great musical foundation in place, and after listening to “Single Again”, Mel has developed her own style which works extremely well. Adding a dizzying musical background against her powerful voice, Monaco has released a track that will give her career a boost, while giving her a chance at the success she is searching for.
